Itinerary

DAY 1 AND 2: OKAVANGO DELTA

Upon arrival at Maun Airport (MUB), you will be met and transferred by light aircraft to Kanana Camp. Kanana is located in the southwest of the Okavango Delta, a hidden jewel on the Xudum River.

Activities vary with the rising and falling levels of the Okavango Delta, including morning and late afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles, with afternoon game drives often continuing into the evening. Alternatively, you may explore the crystal clear waterways by mokoro or motorboat, and enjoy the magnificent variety of birds, plants, and reptile species found in the area.

You will be accommodated at Kanana Camp in spacious twin and double-bedded safari tents, each with en-suite bathrooms with shower, hot and cold running water, and flush toilet. The tents are well spaced, affording privacy whilst remaining within comfortable distance from the main camp area. Accommodation is on a fully inclusive basis, so all meals, local beverages, and safari activities are included. Activities include game drives, night drives, and mokoro trails.

DAY 3 AND 4: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

You will be scheduled a transfer by light aircraft from Kanana Camp to Kasane Airport (BKK) followed by a shared road transfer to Chobe Game Lodge. This is the only lodge located in the Chobe National Park situated on the banks of the magnificent Chobe River.

The park is a game viewer's paradise and activities at the lodge include open vehicle game drives and boat cruises. Elephant encounters are common and huge herds of buffalo abound. The ever-present impala and the majestic giraffe are everywhere.

The accommodation at Chobe Game Lodge is comprised of 42 twin or double rooms, four luxury private suites, and one family unit. Rooms are all river-facing, with spacious decks and air conditioning, as well as a complimentary mini-bar. You will stay overnight at Chobe Game Lodge, and lunch, dinner, and breakfast will be provided. Activities include game drives and boat cruises.

DAY 5 AND 6: VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE

After breakfast, you will share a cross border transfer from Chobe Game Lodge to Ilala Lodge. Ilala Lodge is one of the smaller hotels in Victoria Falls with just 52 rooms. It is well located within walking distance of the famous Victoria Falls and curio markets.

The classic safari style rooms all have en-suite facilities and the main area overlooks the Zambezi National Park. When the falls are in flood (February to July), you can see the magnificent spray from the main terrace. The lodge has a small exclusive boat, the Ra Ikane, for a wonderful sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. You will stay overnight at Ilala Lodge. Accommodation is on a bed-and-breakfast basis

DAY 7 AND 8: HWANGE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, share a road transfer from Ilala Lodge to Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) followed by scheduled transfer by light aircraft to Nehimba Safari Lodge. Nehimba Safari Lodge is situated in the Sinamatella region of Hwange National Park. The lodge offers stylish en-suite chalets on wooden decks overlooking a seep (waterhole). Activities offered are day and night game drives and walking safaris.

Sinamatella region is characterized by mopane and teak forests with rocky granite ridges and is excellent walking safari country. You will stay overnight at Nehimba Safari Lodge, lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Activities include game drives, night drives, and walking safaris.

DAY 9: VICTORIA FALLS AIRPORT (VFA)

After breakfast at the lodge, you will proceed to your scheduled transfer by shared road transfer from the Nehimba Airstrip to Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) in time for your onward arrangements.
