ABOUT LIVINGSTONE TOWN

History lovers will find Livingstone alive. Many buildings from the first decade of the century are still in use. It was one of the first white settlements in Northern Rhodesia (Zambia) and for quite a while it was the only urban center in the territory and the gateway to the north. The town has preserved much of its colonial character, but is a typical African town with a busy charm.

Livingstone receives guests from all over the world, who want to enjoy the world wonder, as well as the many exciting activities that both side of the Fall have to offer. There is absolutely to end to amazements on the offing for to many pens in words.

Rich in scenery and heritage, Livingstone today has become the tourist heart of Zambia. We welcome you to the city of heritage and culture.

1st ACTIVITY- 

TOUR OF THE FALLS - ZAMBIAN SIDE (ZIMBABWEAN SIDE - OPTIONAL)

The Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonder is a pride of Sothern Africa. A visit to this part of Africa that excludes the tour of the Falls is deemed incomplete.

Upon arrival in Livingstone, clients will get the tour of this natural phenomenon , the prep- session will be given by our informed guide at the entrance, the geographical and historical information and all the mysteries surrounding the Falls. Clients will explore all the myriad of trails, cataracts and water-falls, getting an appreciation from all elevation. There is never suiting and appropriate narrative to equate the experience associated with this tour than a visit.

Drinks and Snacks will be provided as at when the clients require them. This is a 3 hour of immense exhilarating resonating moment.

-LOOK OUT TREE-

After the Tour of the fall, the Clients will proceed to see other adventure of a life time. On the way, there is a detour at "LOOK-OUT TREE" where client will go up the stair of the biggest tree. This is the strategic height to see the entire Victoria Falls, Livingstone and even Zimbabwe from the horizon of angels.

2nd ACTIVITY- 

VILLAGE TOUR (ROYAL PALACE)

A tour to the Mukuni Village is a 3 hour eye-opening, educational and inspiring activity. With a population of about 5000, Mukuni is a real village with real Leya people living their lives. During the tour, you will learn about their livelihoods, culture, and see Chief Mukuni's Palace. You can also pre-arrange to have a taste of the traditional food and beer. Mukuni Village is a Royal village which was founded around the 13th Century. The Chief's guides and the people of the village are more than happy to show visitors their huts and take you inside, explain how they are built and decorated, introduce you to various craftsmen and women at work and ask you to taste some traditional foods and beer. This is a working village, not a purpose built tourist attraction, and it is a privilege to be welcomed into their lifestyle

Clients will be treated to a sumptuous ala -tour meal at a local picnic area in readiness for Safari Game Drive, an encounter with the wild world in Mosi-oa-Tunya national Park.

3rd ACTIVITY - 

A CHOICE OF EITHER GAME DRIVE OR SUNSET BOAT CRUISE  ACTIVITY

Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park covers 66 km2 (25 sq. mi) from the Songwe Gorge below the falls in a north-west arc along about 20 km of the Zambian river bank. It forms the south-western boundary of the city of Livingstone and has two main sections, each with separate entrances, a wildlife park at its north-western end, and the land adjacent to the immense and awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, which in the rainy season is the world's largest curtain of falling water.[4] It extends downstream from the falls and to the south-east along the Batoka gorges

The wildlife park includes tall riverine forest with palm trees, miombo woodland and grassland with plenty of birds, and animals including Angolan giraffe, Burchell's zebra, warthog, sable, eland, Cape buffalo, impala and other antelope The Falls section of the national park includes the rainforest on the cliff opposite the Eastern Cataract which is sustained by spray from the falls. It contains plants rare for the area such as pod mahogany, ebony, ivory palm and wild date palm.

This tour combines a 2 hours Safari Game Drive and 1 hour walking Safari to see the Rhino. This is an experience for true game lovers. Drinks and Snacks will be provided as at when clients require.

A great relaxing experience where you get a chance to see some hippos, crocodile, elephants and some antelopes while they are coming to have the last drink for the day. On this tour, you will appreciate the beauty of the sun as it is setting and the African natural landscape. This gives you are very social moment where you interact as a team while you relax and enjoy the sumptuous snacks and drinks which are all included in the tour package
